Right now you are not the person that you were 2 seconds ago. Embracing this takes courage. Embracing this requires faith. We are all alchemists, shapeshifters. Transformation is our natural state. If we are seeking a constant state of perfection, we will hold ourselves back for the most glorious transformation that is possible.

True transformation isn't pretty, but it is beautiful. It is glorious and messy as we expand and contract, expand and contract. Rebirth is not possible without death first. While we are in the fertile void of our becoming we discover that what feels like a tomb is actually a womb. In this moment we realize that we are birthing ourselves anew.

This card appears when a significant period of initiation is occurring. Initiation isn't always smooth, but it is significant. When you pass through the birth canal of the transformation, you will be reborn differently than before. It is a crucible in which we are reborn and new right in the middle of our lives.

This card can also appear to tell us that our soul is scheduled to go deeper than before. It can be a beacon of light, inviting you to keep hold of the grace that is carrying you through. It can be an indication that your soul is connecting in deeper ways at this time.
